What a happy busy life!

The spring basketball season started last week. Kev and I decided that he volunteer to be the "coach" for Vey's team. It is so neat to see how they learn about each other and how it strengthens their relationship. It is amazing to watch Kevron training/coaching the kids.
Vey made 3 good shots yesterday which was the second game!

The Kings are taking a power nap. I guess I have to stop folding the clothes. :)

Shaka!

On to Round 2!!

Our Easter Morning 4/16/2017

Today, we celebrated the most important and most special event of all times, the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are eternally indebted to His selflessly pure sacrifice for us all. Because of Him, there is more to life for because of Him, "ETERNITY" became real.

I very greatly love this song. It reminds me a lot of my missionary journey in my second area.  I lived through this. This song still echoes my life when I started my journey here in America.

Jesus, the very thought of thee
With sweetness fills my breast;
But sweeter far thy face to see
And in thy presence rest.

Nor voice can sing, nor heart can frame,
Nor can the mem’ry find
A sweeter sound than thy blest name,
O Savior of mankind!

O hope of ev’ry contrite heart,
O joy of all the meek,
To those who fall, how kind thou art!
How good to those who seek!

Jesus, our only joy be thou,

As thou our prize wilt be;

Jesus, be thou our glory now,

And thru eternity.

Now, I close this epistle with the truth that I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. Although I do not comprehend the depth of His sacrifice yet it sufficeth me to say that He has done so much more than I deserve.

The Big Helpers

Mounting LEDs into the cooling blocks.

Vey soldering iron. He is thinning wires to connect the LEDs.

One of the best attributes that I really appreciate about Kevron is his patience in teaching our kids about science and logic by involving them in his projects. It is very touching to watch how it strengthens their respect, admiration and love for each other.

Reading Restaurant

On Tuesday Kev and I were able to be fed by the cutest waitress! She offered us 3 delicious menus. She read them all to us.

After reading the 3 books, Emma left and then came back with a small booklet: our bill. Kev and I wrote some comments and signed it.
It was such a cool activity and Emma was very glad that we came 💖💖

Play offs

Today is play-offs and I am not talking about NBA. Ha! 😀😀😀 This is a short story of how we spent our day as a family.

Visited our green house. Our tomatoes are growing good and flowering. We soon can make delicious salsa and sauce. I love eating them fresh as well!

Yay brocolli to match beef!

Kev has transplanted my, Emma and Vey's favorite fruit watermelon. There is also my favorite okra and eggplant.

Kev cleared the back yard and ready to be mowed by Vey next week. Vey mowed the front yard already. What a big helper!

We finally found the time to start our goal to clean the garage. Most of the boxes were examined. We did a lot of declattering. As you can see, there's a lot of boxes that were emptied and flattened ready to take to the recycling place. Those white bags were filled with unwanted things...garbage!

Only 4  boxes left to be checked.

We usually park the white vehicle here.

This area is almost perfectly clear and ready for our hydroponic system project. Life and good health is such a big blessing that you can perform important things. I often hear from Filipinos that... it is okay even if you are poor as long as you are healthy. Health is a blessing. Health is wealth.

Our cabinet of condiments and seasonings!

Ready to bake our favorite chocolate chip cookies tomorrow.

Our medicine cabinet now contains only the ones we take  and use and not expired.

Fridge and freezer were slightly cleaned today. Of course we paused for a break. We went to Izzy's to have dinner. We all ate like a pig! Lol
We then went to Home Depot and then Fred Meyers to do some shoppings. We purchased ingredients for our one week dinner menus. Kev and I started doing this again so we can save more money and eat healthy.

Emma and Miggie prepared the easter eggs for hunting tomorrow. They are super excited!

After all the errands and chores, we cheered and watched our favorite NBA team.

Relaxing...

And yo!!! Johnson, the clutch!!!!

REMARKS: It was such a busy, fast paced day yet satisfying. Kev and I are trying to teach our kids that "fun" does not only apply to doing games. FUN means feeling happy while doing any act of honest service b/c it is an expression of love. Having a good attitude is essential in everything you do.

Come on and get me, Mommy!

Yes, that adorable little boy of mine made that note for me. He even posted it on the door so when I wake up, I'd see it first thing in the morning. How could you decline to the request?? He is the sweetest little boy that I know. And yes, he not just made the note on a piece of paper but two papers. haha His ways are just so undeniably super dooper cute and admirable!

That note I got on Friday when I did not go to work although I usually pick them up from school fridays b/c it is my half day at work. I always look forward to this opportunity. I am grateful and glad.
